23 in '23 - Summer 2023 Initiative

Providing 23 primary school students with scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year

This year we are raising funds to provide 23 primary school age children the opportunity to receive an academic scholarship. In accordance with the mission of the KITE Program, these scholarships will provide students with the ability gain an education free of cost. The after effects of COVID as well as the devastating floods of 2022 has taken a significant toll on the underserved communities of Pakistan. 

These scholarships will be provided to the most needy students, and will be disbursed on a monthly schedule directly to the educational institution.

On average the cost for one student at a primary school in Azad Kashmir is roughly Rs 2500-3000/mo. To cover the enrollment fee of one student for the entire year is approximately Rs 36,000 (USD 138). Additionally, we will be providing students with the basic necessities to receive an education, similar to the 2018 "100 Backpack initiative".
