KITE Program

Giving Children The Basic Tools For Education

100% OF YOUR DONATION GOES TO CHILD EDUCATION

OVERVIEW

The KITE Program is a non-profit, U.S. based organization whose purpose is to gather and distribute funds to students and schools in need in rural Pakistan. The KITE Program’s principal mandate is to increase the standard of facilities and education at all levels, especially the primary and secondary school levels. KITE Program works primarily in Pakistan, but with continued growth and expansion we plan on extending our cause to other underserved areas of South Asia.

KITE Program believes that by collecting private donations from individuals, businesses and other foundations we will be able to provide and create a better learning environment for the underserved.

Our goal is to create and/or fund programs that will have a lasting effect on students in underserved areas of Pakistan. We ensure that the grants and funds that we distribute are aligned with the priorities of the schools as well as the students by working closely with school administrators as well as teachers.

At KITE Program we believe that a good quality education helps children achieve their full potential in all aspects of life.

MISSION

To provide students in underserved areas of South Asia with quality education and facilities, by distributing funds collected by individuals, businesses and other organizations.

Update regarding Toolbox Initiative !

Firstly, I want to thank every single donor on behalf of myself and the team. Without your donations and support, the Toolbox Initiative would not have been possible. The support we received from all of our donors was paramount in the success of the Toolbox Initiative. I also want to take the time to appreciate the support from our team of volunteers in Pakistan who helped us accomplish the first initiative of the KITE Program. We look forward to the continued support of our donors as well as the enthusiasm and passion of our volunteers !

KITE PROGRAM'S FIRST INITIATIVE

In roughly five months of fundraising for the Toolbox Initiative we were able to create 117 Toolbox's ! The volunteers as well as KITE Program team members hand picked each supply to ensure we received the best quality product within our allocated budget. The team then assembled each individual backpack with all the necessary supplies to complete the Toolbox.

These toolbox's included:

- 1 Backpack , 12 Colored Pencils , 10 Crayons , 10 Lead Pencils , 3 Erasers , 2 Pencil Sharpeners , 1 6" ruler , 1 Pencil Pouch, 3 Notebooks

We were able to distribute 21 toolbox's to students from federal government schools for boys and girls in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. The remaining 96 toolbox's have been sent to Azad Kashmir, where they will be distributed amongst students from government schools as well as Az-Zahid Academy. We will update the blog with more pictures and information regarding the distribution of the remaining 96 toolbox's.
